Let us guide you with recommendations based on your goals, whether it's stress relief, enhanced relaxation, or a blend of therapeutic techniques. - General contraindications for massage treatment: - If you’ve had botox or any fillers in the last 6-7 weeks - If you’re currently unwell (it is best to wait until you have fully recovered before you have massage therapy) - Any recent injuries - Any inflammation in the body - Deep vein thrombosis - Cancer - Pregnancy (First trimester) - Skin conditions (severe acne, eczema, psoriasis, cold sores or open sores) - If in doubt receiving medical clearance from your doctor or health practitioner is advised before receiving any massage treatment. Hot stones contraindications: - Any active inflammatory condition - Any skin condition that has led to inflammation eg/ psoriasis, dermatitis, shingles or sunburn. - Any condition where the immune system is compromised, either by the condition itself or the drugs used to treat it - Diabetes - Oedema (swelling of tissue) - Pregnancy (all trimesters) - Immediate post-surgical or post-traumatic injury eg/ whiplash, fracture - Unmanaged hypertension, unmanaged cardio-vascular disease. - Epilepsy. - Hyper-mobility of joints, recent joint replacements. - Any condition that has led to loss of nerve sensations eg/ neuropathy, Multiple Sclerosis. - Any other condition not cleared by a medical professional
